Sean Kelley is a consultant and non-profit leader. He is dedicated to creating challenging and meaningful museum experiences for broad audiences.

Sean oversaw all aspects of the visitor experience—including exhibits, events, visitor services, public programs and marketing—at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site for nearly 30 years.

Sean centered the voices of community members and incarcerated people in his work, changing the organizational culture of the workplace and creating deeply impactful visitor experiences.

Today Sean helps museums and historic sites with strategic and interpretive planning, large-scale public engagement, fund raising, and purpose-driven staff engagement. He speaks broadly in the field.
